Bar-Mitzwa at Beth Shalom in Munich

Benjamin Roesky of the liberal Jewish community Beth Shalom prepares for the Bar-Mitzwa service, which will take place the following day at the synagogue in Munich, Germany, 16 October 2009. Bar Mitzwa marks the day when Jewish boys enter manhood. From this day on they are responsible for the observance of rules and requirements of Judaism.
