J7 Condemn Iranian Attack on Israel

The organization expressed its »unwavering support for Israel and the Israeli people«

The J7 have expressed their »unwavering support for Israel and the Israeli people« after Iran attacked the Jewish state directly, for the first time ever this past weekend. Tehran’s proxies Hamas and Hezbollah have launched many attacks against Israel while the Houthi in Yemen took part in Iran’s latest missile and drone strike, according to U.S. sources.

»We are immensely grateful to the governments of France, the United Kingdom and the United States, and Arab states that assisted Israeli forces in intercepting this attack, as well as to those who expressed solidarity with the Jewish state«, the J7’s statement read. Jordan reportedly aided Israel and its other partners by intercepting some Iranian drones and missiles.

Terrorist Proxies

»The firing by the Iranian regime of hundreds of drones, cruise missiles and ballistic weapons is a wholly unjustified act of war, and further proof of the regime’s long-held and hate-filled desire to eradicate Israel and kill as many Jews as possible«, the Task Force said. For decades, Iran has threatened to »annihilate« Israel on a regular basis.

The J7 stressed they strongly supported Israel »in its efforts to defend itself against continued threats to its sovereignty posed by the Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies, including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and others.«

Violent Threats

»Now is the time for our countries, and the international community as a whole, to designate the regime-sponsored Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in its entirety as a terrorist entity for their continuing violent threats to the region and beyond«, the international Jewish organization stated.

According to its latest statement, the international community needs to »stand strongly in support of Israel and do everything in its power to counter the danger posed by the Iranian regime to the region and international stability.«

The J7 are the large Jewish communities’ Task Force Against Antisemitism, which was was formed in response to increasing rates of Jew hatred around the world. Major Jewish umbrella organizations in Argentina, Australia, Canada, France, the United Kingdom and the United States are part of the J7. For Germany, the Central Council of Jews is included.
